I have more than 23 years' experience as a patent formalities professional; passed the CIPA Administrators' Examination in 2002 and acquired practical experience with filing patent applications globally - particularly in Europe and the U.K., with European grant procedure, the monitoring and payment of annuities, as well as with formalities for registered trade mark and design applications.

Previously I worked in the patent department of BP for 15 years before co-founding Compass Patents LLP and becoming a partner at Mathisen & Macara LLP when these firms merged.
