After gaining my Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a PhD in Computer Neural Modelling (of Affective Action Choice) from Imperial College London, I started in the Patent Profession in 2009. Having worked with a number of IP firms, I joined Mathisen & Macara in 2018 and qualified as a certified European Patent Attorney in the same year.
In terms of subject matter, I have experience in quite a diverse number of areas, including radiotherapy and imaging technology, lighting devices, television broadcasting, digital media splicing, computer architecture, digital communications, networks, elevator systems, and lenses for eyewear.
I have experience in the following types of legal work:
Drafting and filing patent specifications.
Prosecuting patent applications to grant, in multiple territories across the globe.
Preparing for and conducting Oral Proceedings at the European Patent Office.
Providing infringement advice.
