I specialise mainly in petrochemical technology and polymers; also nanoparticle inks, printing technology, near infra-red technology, gas-to-liquid conversion, and alternative (green) energy.
I have extensive experience of R&D in China, and IP strategies aligned with corporate and business goals. Substantial experience in R&D licensing agreements, drafting and filing patent applications, managing a patent portfolio of over 200 patent families, and in delivering IP training to corporate employees. I have advised clients on achieving commercial advantage through patents and trade secrets, enforcing IP, and on managing risks in view of competitor IP.
I also chaired and presented at 2007 Forum on Innovation and IP strategy for Key Chinese Enterprise on "How to Maximise IP Commercial Value".
